Individual Counseling for relationship stressors

In Spring Park, Long Lake, and online throughout Minnesota

When our relationships don’t feel fulfilling and secure, we start to question ourselves.

We have many forms of relationships within our lives: spouse/marriage, family members, friendships, schoolmates, workplace- boss and/or co-workers.

  • Are you contemplating your relationship status?

  • Did you just recently end a relationship or marriage?

  • Does your relationship with a friend or family member feel toxic and exhausting?

  • Do you find certain personalities are difficult to navigate?

  • Do you feel like you’ve noticed a pattern of unsuccessful relationships, but you can’t figure out why?

Relationships can be uplifting and rewarding

They can also be challenging and exhausting. We put so much of ourselves into the way we connect to others. When our relationships aren’t going well, it can end up affecting our mood, work performance, school performance, and other relationships.

Unhealthy and toxic relationships can take a toll on us. We lose sight of who we are. Maybe you bend over backwards for everyone else by saying “yes” all the time. Maybe you are questioning who you are without that person. You may even be trying to recover from a toxic relationship that had narcissistic tendencies.

Maybe you may feel tired and exhausted engaging with others. Maybe you feel unheard or taken advantage of by others. Maybe you feel resentful, angry, or hurt by your partner. Maybe you feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells with others.

Relationship therapy can help you understand yourself better and improve the way you connect to others.
